A BRCC BUSINESS BREAKFAST EVENT

The British Romanian Chamber of Commerce in association with ICAEW are delighted to be hosting a BRCC Business Breakfast discussing

“Developing an Effective Finance Function - Are best practices for developing effective finance functions wishful thinking?”
on
Tuesday, 27th March 2012, from 8:30 hrs to 10.30am

at Radisson Blu Hotel, Merope Room

Business partnering, business intelligence, benchmarking, outsourcing, talent management – just some of the solutions put forward to develop effective finance functions. Sometimes they help and sometimes they don’t. ICAEW’s extensive research leads us to question the promotion of so-called ‘best practices’ in building effective finance functions. Rather than advocate simplistic solutions, ICAEW’s work resulted in the development of a framework to facilitate systematic discussions of how the challenges and complexities associated with running finance functions can be overcome.

ICAEW Executive Director, Robert Hodgkinson will outline ICAEW’s finance function framework as a practical tool that you can use to analyse and develop finance functions that reflect your unique circumstances.

Geared to CEOs, CFOs, FDs, general managers and those interested in finance and management, BRCC and ICAEW look forward to a lively discussion.

BRCC Executive Chairman Mr. Ray Breden will be the moderator of the event.

Please note that this is free of charge BRCC event and given the limited number of seats, the participants’ registration will be made on a first come first served basis.

Please confirm your attendance as soon as possible but not later than March 24th,  by e-mail at sgadea@brcconline.eu

Please remember if you cannot attend, you can delegate somebody to represent your company.

We thank the event sponsor, ICAEW
