Aside from the great atmosphere and stimulating company, this evening marks and celebrates the many achievements of COBCOE’s members during the year through its high profile Chamber of the Year Awards Ceremony which showcases the remarkable entrepreneurial and creative talents of the British bilateral chamber network, working hard to promote and support trade between the United Kingdom and its local partner countries across Europe, and beyond.

The Times recently listed her as one the 50 most influential women in Britain.
Dame Julia’s speech at our Gala Dinner will focus on “Think Globally-Act Locally! How business can take the lead in building stronger communities”
The Chamber of the Year Awards is an important highlight in the COBCOE calendar of activities. The awards instil a healthy sense of competition between members and inspire us to learn from each other and to improve and benchmark the professional activities of the British bilateral chamber network. The scheme is widely regarded as a fun way to recognise our collective efforts and achievements.
During the official ceremony we shall announce three awards; the Award for Corporate Social Responsibility, The Best Small Chamber Award and the main Chamber of the Year Award with one runner up.
Our guest speaker is also invited to present our top Chamber of the Year award at the end of the evening.
