Kier came to Romania in 1998 in joint venture with Mivan Ltd to deliver a programme of social housing and water supply projects for the Romanian
government. While the joint venture continued to work for the government providing water supply schemes in rural areas, the business also diversified
into major building projects.

Kier in joint venture with Mivan Ltd has recently completed two large shopping mall projects in Bucharest and Oradea and works continue on a major
high quality residential development in Bucharest.

Kier executes a wide range of civil engineering, water and sewage infrastructure projects, as well as commercial offices, retail, logistics,
and environmental schemes, for a diverse range of clients.

From its regional base in Bucharest and with the support of resources from the Group, the business has gained a decade of successful experience of
working in Romania.
