Independent financial adviser
An Independent Financial Adviser since 1988 with my own practice and am completely independent. My clients are mostly private individuals, many though not all in the oil industry. I help them to save and invest money for the future.
I am non-corporate, offering affordable services, and work with several institutions. The main one is Nordea Private Bank in Switzerland. Through Nordea I have access to substantial research and expertise.
I am conservative. I have to make money for my clients but I have to do it consistently and safely and my charging structure is completely transparent.
I am British but live in Portugal with my Dutch wife and our three children, 17, 14 and 5.
