In early 2010 we established an operation in Romania following which, Petrofac Solutions & Facilities Support SRL (Petrofac Romania) were awarded, in July 2010, the Production Enhancement Contract (PEC) by OMV Petrom S.A for the rehabilitation and reactivation of certain Hydrocarbon reservoirs within the certain petroleum fields in Romania, namely Ţicleni, Ţicleni Nord, Ţicleni Sud, Bâlteni, Bâlteni Sud, Bâlteni Est, Colibaşi Est - Călugăreasa, Colibaşi - Negoeşti Vest and Târgu Jiu
( ”Ticleni”). Petrofac’s scope under the PEC includes the on-going development and exploitation of Ticleni in a way that improves current production and ultimate recovery by application of effective operating practices, advanced techniques and new technologies, including the handling and transportation of any hydrocarbon production from the Area. Petrofac hope this is the first of many similar contracts in Romania.

Petrofac Romania have their headquarters in Bucharest and a field office in Ticleni, Gorj County .In Bucharest our staff compliment is currently around twenty people, and we have plans to expand as our business in Romania grows ,while in Ticleni we have around 940 personnel , 120 of them office based ,the remainder are field operatives and technical staff.
