Kinstellar boosts its Romanian finance and corporate practices with appointment of new Partner and Counsel .

Kinstellar, the leading premium regional law firm for Emerging Europe, is delighted to announce the appointment of Bogdan Bibicu as Partner and head of the Banking & Finance practice in Bucharest and Razvan Popa as Counsel to the Corporate practice in Bucharest.

Bogdan Bibicu began his practice with the Bucharest office of Linklaters prior to its spin-off as Kinstellar, and from 2005 to 2006 was an associate with the banking practice of Linklaters’ London office. More recently, Bogdan has been a partner of the Bucharest firm of Bulboaca & Asociatii. He has earned the respect and recognition of the market as a prominent up-and-coming lawyer in the Romanian market with a broadly based finance practice in acquisition finance, property finance, debt restructuring and syndicated lending. Bogdan will join Kinstellar on completion of the formalities of his departure from his current firm.

Prior to joining Kinstellar, Razvan Popa was a partner in Costea Jalba Popa & Asociatii and prior to that was a senior associate with RMDT in association with Hertzfeld & Rubin and inhouse counsel with Alpha Finance, Bucharest, and has a broad portfolio of experience in corporate, finance and capital markets law.
